Screen printings*

This is a digital screen print. It was created on photoshop, using several different images, i am going to attempt to create this for experimental purposes, and also i like the effect this has created.

stage 1

This is a picture of one of the members in my chosen band, it was important for me to create an image with a clear background to use a starting point.

After i had chosen my image i saturated  the image, made the lines darker, smoothed out some areas of the picture and also removed the head of the image.

Next i chose an animal to represent what i felt my artists represented and that was a cheetah becase they are wild and cool just like this animal.

I repeated the same things i done with the body to the head, i croped out the background section, to get the plain head then i pasted that to the body.

I positioned the head were i wanted it then i coloured in the background, i also chse red becase i felt that it represented my band well . Red is a bright and loud colour, it is alarming and that is what i feel my ban represents.

This was my final outcome, i used the brush tool to create the rest of my image, I feel as if i could make a few more improvements to tidy p the image but since this was an experimentation i like it and am thinking of using this in my final outcome.
