Surface Pattern*

Technique 1
This was the first piece i created using a tutorial from youtube called how to make grunge effects, i think that maybe if i chose a different background colour rather than green it may have come out better, i don't really like this effect due to it making the main picture unclear, but maybe i will re try this effect in later times, or maybe i'll adapt this technique to fit into something i may want to do. the original photo is below.

Technique 2
This image i created using the repeat tool, gradient and stamp tool, i really like the way this pattern looks because it looks like a piece of textile, instead of computer work, i also think that it represents my chosen artists with the bright colours and the stamp which was previously created of a face i like the way the image does not look like that, i may try out this technique again but this time use my logo as a stamp instead the face. I will defiantly consider using this technique in my final out come for my CD packaging.

 Technique 3
I also created this piece by using a youtube tutorial, i really  liked the way this looked but i don't feel it could represent my artists in anyway so i don't think i will use this to create my album cove or my inlay cover, creating this also was very time consuming for me, so i may use it in a next project but not this project.

Technique 4
I created this piece using duplicate and rotate tool, this was a really simple technique but yet really effective, i chose a font which was fun and simple to mix in with theme, i may use some of these techniques used to create this image but not this exact outcome.
